The Best WordPress Comment Spam Ever!

If you’re a WordPress blogger and have had your blog up and running for a few years like mine, it’s very likely that your blog gets hit with a lot of comment spam. Granted there’s akismet along with other tools to catch these nasty little buggers. WordPress comment spam is more of an inconvenience rather than harmful. It’s a pain in the butt having to remember to click the “Empty Spam” button in dashboard. And that’s about gist of it.

But what’s interesting about comment spam are the actual comments. I read them from time to time. Mostly I wonder why the comments are so stupid. Most of the sentences don’t make sense. On occasion I get a few that are somewhat believable, but for the most part they are all clearly fake.

Here’s one that stuck out among the rest:

The reason why I thought this one was funny is because I have actually considered installing an in-wall computer in my bathroom with a pull out keyboard tray. Currently I use a metal folding chair to set my laptop on. That’s worked for me quite well for many years. Of course back when I originally thought of the idea of an in-wall bathroom computer station home wireless networking weren’t mainstream, nor were laptops. My bathroom computer workstation would have had an RJ-45 wall mounted data port for connecting my computer to my home network, RJ-12 for connecting my modem into a phone line, and of course, a double wall outlet. I think I’ll stick with my current system consisting of my metal folding chair and laptop.

Why not use the gold old tried and true paper literature or perhaps a kindle. Although you'd be sorry if you dropped your choice of the latter in the water.
